El bosch e le castagne

El Bosch e le Castagne (meaning “The Forest and the Chestnuts” in the local Piemontese dialect) is the story of a local tree and its autumnal fruit, the chestnut. In this area, the chestnut is the symbol of survival and is the center around which many stories are told.

Locals continue to harvest chestnuts each year and roast them as warm snacks when the weather outside is cold.

A large glass window frames the chestnut woods outside that surround Il Sogno della Vita.
