About the farm

Our farm was founded in the 1800s by the Grosso family, and extends into the foothills of Peveragno at the base of the Bisalta mountain. The family worked hard to cultivate the land, especially following the years of the great war. Our great-grandfather Agostino, father-in-law of the current owner Margherita, was a particular force of transforming the farm and making it possible to support the family through its products.

Thanks to the passion for the land and the teachings handed down from generation to generation of the Grosso family, Margherita continued to cultivate and grow the farm with the help of her husband.Today the whole family, including her daughter and grandchildren, work the farm together with respect for the natural process of growth and seasonality.

We produce strawberries, blueberries and raspberries; numerous vegetables including tomatoes, peppers, onions, and more; and forage for autumn chestnuts and mushrooms in the woods surrounding our land. Our woods and our trees are cleaned and pruned regularly, to ensure maximum yield and to obtain good firewood.

You can also get to know our farm animals and our three horses, which are very beloved.

In our farm you will learn about our responsible and natural agricultural practices, as well as the advice and stories that have been handed down in our family.
